Continuing on my exploration of the DS 207 and what I can do with the box without mod'ing it. I wanted to be able to browse from my home IP from anywhere. Optimally I'd want to be able to access my home network which this doesn't give me(I guess I have to enable SSH to get this). EyeOS should give me the remote browsing. I started out by trying to follow the installation instructions from EyeOS. This rendered no result so i decided to try to install on a Linux box which gave me the error around needing to CHMOD 777 to the files and directories. It installed on the Linux box flawlessly and after that I copied the files to the DS 207 and logged in.
